Roger Vogt
In 1968, Roger Vogt left his surfboard in San Diego and picked up an automotive
degree from C.O.S. two years later. After a seven year career at Mahoney-Odell
Ford, Roger opened his own shop in 1977. He added an A/C parts warehouse
in 1987. Roger continues to be a hands-on Master Level Technician with an
emphasis on air-conditioning for both auto and agriculture. Roger is a member
of the
Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) and is also an A/C Trainer for MACS.
Roger currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Better Business
Bureau, Central Valley Division.
Craig Hansen
Craig combines his love and knowledge of automobiles with his experience as
both a news reporter and play by play announcer, to successfully host KMJ’s
Auto Shop Talk. He has had this position since the show’s inception
in 1984 and he continues to bring outstanding insight to the show which translates
into rating and ultimately results for our clients. Craig Hansen plays a
vital role in the success of the Central Valley Ronald McDonald House Charity.
Since 1993, Craig has successfully managed the annual Collector Car Giveaway
for the Central Valley Ronald McDonald House raising more than 2 million
dollars.
Ron Strong
Ron began his automotive career as an automotive repair technician at a Chevron
Station while attending high school. After graduating, he worked for Grand
Auto until he opened his own repair business in 1983. He has received numerous
achievement awards in automotive repair and is an outside consultant for the
State of California Bureau of Automotive Repair. His knowledge and experience
brings a nice balance to the program.
